Check Out This Trailer For ABZÛ

An underwater journey.

Posted By | On 10th, Jun. 2014

For those of you who did not know, ABZÛ is a gorgeous looking indie game being developed for the PlayStation 4 that takes players to the bottom of the ocean, in a serene, calming adventure. The game is being developed by Giant Squid, which is composed of ex staff members of thatgamecompany, the studio that brought us so many earlier indie hits on the PS3, including flow, flower, and Journey.

The game, which has players searching for existential secrets at the bottom of the ocean, asks some profoundly deep and philosophical discussions, and hopes to to prompt the player into thinking some. Even if all of that sounds too hefty for you, just the developer’s pedigree, the gorgeous art, and the calming and serene music and atmosphere should be enough for you to give this game a shot.

Sony revealed ABZÛ at their press conference during E3 yesterday. It launches later this year exclusively for the PS4. Stay tuned for more coverage.
