Bungie had promised new, exclusive content for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of their upcoming massively multiplayer online shooter, Destiny. Now, on the PlayStation Blog, they have revealed just what all this exclusive content is going to be, and it sounds rather good.

At launch, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 players will get access to a unique co-op Strike located on Mars, an exclusive competitive map, and a slew of exclusive guns, gear, and ships. All of this will be available only to PlayStation players as well, so it’s to be hoped that none of the guns, for example, are balance breaking.

Destiny just ended its exclusive alpha on PlayStation 4, with a beta coming only to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 soon as well. The game itself is due out for release later this year on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. No release dates for either a PC or a Wii U version have yet been announced (indeed those two versions have not yet been confirmed at all), although both have been rumored for a fair while.
