To Celebrate Bastille Day, Ubisoft Has A Brand New Assassin’s Creed Unity Trailer

Viva la Revolution!

Posted By | On 15th, Jul. 2014

July 14 is Bastille Day in France- you know, the day that Bastille was stormed by the revolutionists. Bastille Day is celebrated in commemoration of the French Revolution, arguably one of the most important political developments in modern history. Now, Ubisoft, the publisher with a very heavy French lineage, has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity to celebrate Bastille Day, which makes all kinds of sense, because Assassin’s Creed Unity is in fact set in France during the Revolution.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is the seventh mainline entry in the series, and the first made exclusively for next generation consoles; it follows last year’s excellent Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and moves the historical setting back to Europe. It also becomes the first game in the series to allow seamless online play, and to take advantage of the added power of the new consoles to create massive crowds.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is out on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC this October.
