Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is that other Assassin’s Creed game releasing this year, the one that we mostly don’t talk all that much about. The game will be released exclusively for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and is entirely separate from Assassin’s Creed: Unity, this year’s big headlining entry that will be coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Unlike Unity, which is set during the French Revolution, Rogue is set in the same time and era as Assassin’s Creed III and Black Flag, and it follows the adventures of a Templar, not an Assassin.
It also, quite literally, seems to be a pretty thorough reskin of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, featuring the same animations, textures, models, sound effects, and pretty much everything else as well.
That said, I guess if you want to enjoy an Assassin’s Creed game this year, and haven’t upgraded to one of the new consoles (so most of you all), you have this to enjoy.
