Check Out This New Gameplay Trailer For Assassin’s Creed: Rogue

Templar's Greed.

Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is this year’s entry of the Assassin’s Creed games coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Rather than embrace the setting of Paris in Revolutionary France, Rogue will stay in the American naval setting that has defined the last two entries in the franchise, but with a twist- you play as a Templar instead of as an Assassin, which, if you ask me, is pretty badass. Or would be, if the game seemed ambitious at all. Unfortunately, everything that we have seen of it seems to indicate that it will be just another retread of Assassin’s Creed III and Black Flag.

That includes this trailer. This trailer shows what seems to be a really good looking, well playing Assassin’s Creed game with a pirates twist- except I’ve already played it at least twice before.

Still, though, if you want to play Assassin’s on your previous gen device this year, this might be a good entry, if nothing else.
