FIFA 15 Is Now Available on EA Access For Xbox One

There is a catch, though.

One of the things that EA promised would be available to people who subscribed to its EA Access subscription service was early access to unreleased EA games, and now, they seem to be making good on that promise as FIFA 15, which isn’t actually out until some time next week, is available to play for EA Access subscribers right this moment.

The catch? You can only play it for a total of six hours until the launch of the game, at which point the limit is removed. Your saved data and progress naturally carry over to the full game (should you choose to buy it), and you can either play those six hours all in one go, or spread them out over the next one week.

“You can play all of the trial at once or spread your gaming over several days. Either way, you’ll get regular updates letting you know how much time you have left,” EA said on its website. “Be sure to quit the game when you’re not playing in order to maximize your game time,” they add, since leaving it running in the background still counts towards game time.

Although the restrictions are a little disappointing, I guess EA Access is a work in progress. If people don’t like them, they should let EA know, who will hopefully take the feedback into account for their next release.
