Dragon Age Inquisition Targeting 1080p on PS4, New Gameplay Footage Emerges

Bioware aiming to go as high as the PS4 can go in resolution terms.

PlayStation Lifestyle recently had a sit down with the Bioware Producer behind Dragon Age Inquisition, Cameron Lee, to discuss the game and how it was doing. Eventually hitting a key point of the friendly chat, they asked him how the PlayStation 4 build of the game will stack up when compared to the Xbox One build.

Lee stated that, “I’ll give you a roundabout answer, which basically means I can’t answer it, but the truth is that although we are only a few weeks away from starting to put our first candidates up for certification, we still don’t really know where we’re going to land..and that’s true across all platforms, really. Everything from the resolution to the frames and all that sort of stuff, you just work on that all the way until the very end. But we will certainly be aiming for as absolute high as the PlayStation can go in terms of resolution…at least that. So we’ll see where we go.”

So what do you think of that? Does it mean that they are giving the PlayStation build preference? Or does it need extra work to compare to the Xbox One? We’ll find out when Dragon Age: Inquisition releases this November. Check out some new gameplay footage in the mean time.
