The Legend of Zelda for Wii U is one of the most promising upcoming titles announced, across any platform. Its radical new approach to game design promises the kind of Zelda experience players have not had on console since the original Legend of Zelda, back on the NES, in 1985-86. The fact that last year’s 3DS exclusive GamingBolt Game of the Year nominee, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, was so damn good only gives us more reason to be excited.
And if you have been eagerly awaiting more news on this game, and have been fearing that this game, like literally every single console Zelda game so far, will get delayed, then here’s some good bit of news for you- Nintendo has just confirmed that the game will be releasing in 2015 regardless. It is a part of a lineup of over a dozen major games that Nintendo plans on releasing for the Wii U next year.
Zelda, of course, is one of those games that, like Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros., will automatically make players sit up and take notice of the Wii U, so it is in Nintendo’s best interests to get it out as soon as possible.
