Sims 4 Finally Gets Pools

Game finally gets a feature that was present in the original game in the series back in 2000 to begin with.

When The Sims 4 launched this year, it polarized reception- it was a well playing game with a solid engine that promised a lot for future iterations of the franchise, that was easy to see and appreciate. It was even fun as long as it stuck to doing what it did. The issues were not in what it did but rather in what it didn’t- the game cut out a ridiculous number of things that had become a mainstay of the franchise for close to a decade now, epitomized most of all by the exclusion of the humble swimming pool, which had been back in the original vanilla version of the original Sims game, when it shipped back in 2000, but was somehow not in Sims 4.

Well, that is an issue no longer, as pools are now finally available in Sims 4. You will need to download the update which allows for this, of course, but it is free, instead of it being sold as part of the inevitable ‘expansion packs’ to The Sims 4 that we know are coming.

Er… good going, guys? Maybe actually have all features included to begin with next time.
