Posted By | On 11th, Nov. 2014

It seems that November will be the month to get your extra fix of Assassins Creed, as Ubisoft launches two titles of the series. However Assassins Creed Rogue takes a new spin on the series, because for the first time you will be playing as a Templar hunting down Assassins.

For those of you who are unaware of the story, it takes place during the Seven Years’ War somewhere around the 18th century and puts you in the shoes of Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin who becomes a Templar. Now what’s interesting is that, many fans have commented that the gameplay looks quite similar to Assassins Creed: Black Flag due to the mixture of ship-based naval exploration.

However some new elements have also been added to the gameplay such as, new ship-based weapons that can release an oil slick which can then be ignited for combat. The game also features the arctic environment naval gameplay and discovery, and  environments  such as icebergs to be destructible.

There are tons of new things to discover in Assassins Creed Rogue, and the game will be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on November 11th 2014.
