GameCity today announced Crytek UK will headline Episode 2 of GameCityNights Season 2, the monthly after-dark, adults only exploration of videogames culture.

Episode 2 will take place on Friday, March 25th from 6pm at Antenna in Nottingham, Beck Street, NG1 1EQ. Entry is strictly 18+ only, tickets £5 online, £6 on the door. For details on how to pre-book tickets, see below.

Storming the venue in a hail of bullets, explosions and general wanton destruction, Crytek UK will present two very different features within the evening.

Steven Lewis, Lead Level Designer at Crytek UK, will deliver a one-off talk about the creation and large-scale destruction of Crysis 2’s in-game world as he guides fans through some of the soontobe heavily populated multi-player maps.

Delving deeper into the inner workings of one of the UK’s biggest development studios, Managing Director Karl Hilton will open GameCityNights at 6pm with Frontend, an incisive and frank look at the issues challenging the digital industry today.

Attendees will have the chance to mingle with creative individuals from a variety of sectors as Hilton delivers an intimate talk highlighting the challenges facing businesses today, as well as a look back at Crytek UK’s history.

GameCity Director Iain Simons said, “It’s great to be kicking off Season Two with one of the festival’s best friends, on the eve of the release of one of the most important and anticipated games of 2011.”

Ever popular features make a welcome return this month, including a super secret ‘From the Desk of’, live games, A Winner Is You prize fund and the very best indie developers showing their wares next to some of the month’s biggest AAA titles, all available to play, fuelled by the late-night bar and restaurant.

GameCityNights run on the last Friday of every month at Antenna in Nottingham, Beck Street, NG1 1EQ. Entry is strictly 18+ only, tickets £5 in advance and for students, £6 on the door for the general public. Due to limited capacity, pre-booking is advised.
