Tales of Zestiria May Have Been Leaked for Steam

Another Japanese game coming to PC is always a good thing.

Apparently, Bandai Namco are preparing to bring the latest Tales game, Tales of Zestiria, to the PC, according to a leak of a Steam Registry entry, which indicates that the game may be ported to the PC soon. Tales of Zestiria just launched on the PlayStation 3 in Japan, and while a PlayStation 4 version has been long rumored, this PC entry would be something altogether new- it would be a first for the franchise, which has been very reticent with making the jump to non PlayStation systems anyway.

Of course, there are a lot of games that are put up on the Steam registry, and not all of them see a release. However, this case is different, mostly because after the leak was publicized, the original entry was changed from what you see above to ToZ. Hmmm. Most suspicious.

Of course, even though I no longer care for the Tales series, this would be an exciting announcement for me, mostly because the more Japanese games we have on PC, the better. I might even buy Zestiria, even though its reception in Japan has been pretty poor.

Stay tuned for more coverage.
