With Bethesda set to make their first full fledged E3 appearance later this year, people are preparing themselves in whatever way they can for one specific moment. They either will, or they won’t talk about Fallout 4. But as we’ve said before, on many occasions, the timing is right. And if the recent changes to the official Fallout website are any indication, it would seem that there may be truth in those claims.
For nearly five years now, when you logged on to the Fallout website you were greeted with a different banner. But that’s no longer the case. Rather than being met with an NCR ranger from the divisive Fallout game, Bethesda’s Fallout 3 artwork is on display instead. Could this mean a return to form and the wasteland that we loved so much? Possibly, we can only hope so.
An interesting little note is that the banner simply reads “Fallout” and lacks any distinguishing marks that tie it to Fallout 3 other than the iconic Pip Boy. While the image, which shows people lining up to enter a Vault, was released to mark the 2008 RPG, there’s no logo, number, or title which strictly binds it to the game.
