Xenoblade Chronicles X Will Let You Change Your Appearance Without Changing Hard Earned Stats

Your stats will suffer no more, if you've got plenty of time that is.

Xenoblade Chronicles X Doll

One of the most annoying things in modern RPG’s is that the best gear in the game is typically the best looking equipment. But sometimes, you would rather just roll around in some Hunters Armour in Monster Hunter, but you can’t because it drops your stats to below acceptable limits. Xenoblade Chronicles X is set to change that.

Xenoblade Chronicles X director Koh Kojima has revealed that the game will have Fashion Equipment that will let you change your appearance without negatively altering your stats. While this is no doubt going to be a popular feature, it will likely only be available to dedicated players. Fashion Equipment can only be obtained by completing the game at least once.

This may be a considerable feat for some, given that the game has been clocked at 300 hours by Executive Director Tetsuya Takahashi who recently ran through for a playtest. The game world is five times bigger than that of Xenoblade Chronicles, so expect it to take a while.

There may be more information made available regarding this feature in the new gameplay video coming later this week. What’s more exciting however is that it will be addressing the Dolls, and I do love some giant robots.
