With only a few weeks remaining before Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain launches, an interesting bit of information has leaked out. The entire map of the North Kabul area in Afghanistan has been revealed which you can check out below. The map has several starting points, which has already been showcased in previous gameplay trailers and tons of other details which we cannot make out due to the image’s lower quality.
Please note that is only one portion of the final map. Afghanistan is supposed to be much bigger in the game and then there is Africa as well. There are possibly more locations in the game that I am sure won’t be revealed before the game launches in 30 odd days.
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain launches on September 1st for the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and two weeks later on Steam. Earlier it was revealed that the PS4 file size of The Phantom Pain will only be 25 odd GB which is simply astounding given the bloated file size of games these days. However its final file size may increase if there is any accompanying day one patch.
Thanks, Metal Gear Informer.
