Update 1.1.0 is finally out for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, and it brings with it two long requested and awaited features- the Tournament Mode, which was announced back before the Wii U version of the game was even out, and YouTube sharing, which was announced earlier this year, are now both available.

Tournament Mode lets you create, host, and schedule tournaments, locally as well as online. YouTube uploading lets you share and save replays online, to YouTube as well as Nintendo’s own Miiverse. Both functions work pretty much exactly as they did in Mario Kart 8.

In addition, new paid DLC is also available for the game. This includes the classic N64 stages, Hyrule Castle and Mushroom Kingdom Castle, but also some costumes for Mii Fighters. The full list of DLC available for Smash is:

  • Samus’s Armour Mii Outfit – $0.75 / £0.69 single, $1.15 / £1.09 for both
  • Lloyd Set Mii Outfit – $0.75 / £0.69 single, $1.15 / £1.09 for both
