With the New Xbox Experience powered by Windows 10 launching on the Xbox One soon, major updates for the console seem to have relatively dried up lately. Oh, sure, we are still getting firmware updates every month, but on the whole, there are no more major feature or usability additions like we used to get.
Which is why September’s update, now available to Xbox One Preview Members, isn’t anything particularly special. it might be the most unimpressive Xbox One update we have gotten yet- it’s really no different than the countless ‘stability’ updates that Sony and Nintendo like pushing out so much:

So… I mean, yeah. That’s really it. You will be prompted to download the update automatically by September 8 if you haven’t done it manually by yourself by then.
