Gamers come in all shapes and sizes and that’s certainly the case when it comes to people who play Destiny. This was underlined and bolded by a recent tweet by WWE professional wrestler The Big Show where he thanked Bungie, Activision and Red Bull for sending him a Destiny: The Taken King care package. He showed the gift he had been given, which included a special edition PS4 as well as a copy of the game and a number of cans of Red Bull.

After he went public with the picture of the care package, one of his followers seemed to be trying to stick up for him and his busy schedule saying, “with his job, family commitments and busy schedule… he’s never gona play it” The Big Show wanted to make sure everyone knew he hadn’t been given this gift as just a way to promote the game. The Big Show is apparently quite the Destiny gamer since he replied “lol I’m in top 1% light, grim and k/d ratio. I play believe me”

The wrestler’s followers can’t be blamed for thinking he was just doing this as an advertising gimmick. This kind of thing is rather well known in the video gaming business. It’s always cool to see these kinds of celebrities are actually into using the products they are touting. It’s also cool to see that people who know and like The Big Show think enough of him that they believe he doesn’t have enough time for this kind of thing with his other obligations.
