Mafia 3

The third entry in the Mafia franchise, the long awaited Mafia 3, has received a brand new trailer- and this trailer places the emphasis and focus on driving through the game’s period open world, rather than on the world or characters. In this trailer, Design Director Mathias Worch and Executive Producer Denby Grace talk about the driving mechanics in Mafia 3.

Since the game takes place in an earlier time period, simply trying to include modern driving mechanics wasn’t good enough- instead, great care had to be taken to ensure that the driving mechanics, as they were, would be authentic and true to the setting of the title. The trailer shows off some new footage, as the developers explain the lengths they went to to deliver an immersive and ultimately authentic experience.

You can check out the new trailer for yourself below. Mafia 3 will be out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 7.
