Battlefield 1

Apparently, some lucky few will get to play DICE’s excellent seeming upcoming World War 1 shooter Battlefield 1 this coming week- a closed alpha test for the game is due to begin this week, according to Gamespot. In a preview they published, they referred to an upcoming alpha test for the game that is due this week.

“And I’ve only spent an hour in the maps that will be available in the game’s closed alpha next week,” the previewer says, “so I can’t say whether this unpredictability will become rote as I play more of the multiplayer shooter. But I can say that, from my brief time with the game, I came away excited for what feels like a return to form for the series.”

No official announcement for an alpha test has been made yet, but considering that it’s a closed alpha test, there might not be one. Battlefield 1 is due out this October on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
