Nintendo 3DS Update 11.4.0-37 Now Out, Adds System Stability

So stable you could keep a pony in it.

Not wanting to be outdone by Sony, Nintendo has released a brand new system update for the Nintendo 3DS today. Update 11.4.0-37, which is now out, apparently makes “further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments to enhance the user experience”. Which is another way of saying it does nothing.

Actually, if you are a homebrew user, you’ll find that this update blocks several system exploits, including safehax. In other words, this is Nintendo blocking exploits and backdoors into their system. The update also fixes the minor framerate drops in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D that the previous update introduced as an inadvertent side effect.

If there are any other changes that come to light, we shall be sure to let you know. Otherwise, if you are a Nintendo 3DS user, there is no reason to not install this update, I suppose (unless you use homebrew, obviously).
