Call of Duty: WW2 New Video Explains Sledgehammer’s Vision Behind The Game

Plus some gameplay footage

Call of Duty: WW2 returns to the series’ roots (as you can tell from the name, probably), by going back to the World War 2 setting that the games started out with to begin with. It’s a modern take on a classic setting – World War 2 shooters have grown very infrequent of late (actually because of Call of Duty’s jump to modern day, and all other shooters following in its wake) – and it will be interesting to see how it comes along.

To explain how they are approaching it, developers Sledgehammer Games have released a brand new video where they explain their vision behind the game. It’s interesting, to say the least, and should give you an idea of exactly what to expect (and what not to) from the game. It also has some new gameplay footage, if that’s your thing.

Call of Duty: WW2 launches this November on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
