The Surge’s Newest Video Takes Us Behind The Scenes

Behind the scenes on the upcoming science fiction Souls-like.

Posted By | On 11th, May. 2017

The Surge, the brand new science fiction Souls like game from Deck13, the folks who brought us Lords of the Fallen in 2014, is almost here- and ahead of its launch, Deck13 and Focus Home Interactive have shared a brand new trailer for this game.

The trailer, which you can see for yourself below, discusses the game’s combat systems (including the directional attacks it introduces to the Souls formula, as well as its own unique spin on the leveling mechanic that has characterized the genre for so long; it also discusses the loot system), as well as the unique science fiction setting of the game. A science fiction Souls game is something everyone has wanted for a very long time, so Deck13 may be on to something here.

The Surge launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Are you going to be picking it up? Make sure to let us know in the comments section, and stay tuned to GamingBolt for our review of the game.
