Star Wars Battlefront 2 will, unlike the 2015 game, actually have a single player campaign, and this is something that EA and DICE are actually focusing on a lot in the game’s marketing. Take this newest trailer for the game that was released today, for instance- it focuses entirely on the story of Commander Iden Versio, the former Stormtrooper who you will be playing as in Battlefront 2‘s story.

It’s a pretty cool trailer, and it seems to firmly establish Battlefront 2 as part of the same canon as the Star Wars movies. It’s got the same tone, and the same aesthetic, and it will very clearly stay true to the spirit of the franchise and its stories so far. The campaign is probably the primary reason that I am excited for Battlefront 2 right now.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 launches this November on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Make sure to check out the new trailer for yourself below.
