Far Cry 5’s Map Is Designed In Such A Way That No Two Players Will Have The Same Experience

Breath of the wild west.

Ubisoft recently announced Far Cry 5 with an official trailer, and the reception so far has been very positive. What’s been most interesting about the game’s reveal is its setting- after the remote settings of an uncharted island and the Himalayas in previous games, Far Cry 5 is going to be set in Hope County in Montana.

And that’s gonna be interesting in more ways than one- even outside of the narrative reasons. Dan Hay, the creative director and executive producer of Far Cry 5, recently sat down for an interview with Hardcore Gamer, and he spoke about the setting briefly.

According to Hay, the map is going to be designed in such a way and offer so much freedom that no two players are going to have the same experience while playing Far Cry 5. “We’re not specifically talking about the size right now,” Hay said while speaking about the game’s map. “What I can say is that we did change the structure a bit so that you have the ability to go in any direction you want to. The experience you and I have could be vastly different based on what direction we go.”

Sounds interesting. There’s bound to be even more information on the game soon, with E3 getting closer, so stay tuned. Far Cry 5 is going to be out in February next year for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
