ARK: Survival Evolved Can Run At 1440p and 30FPS On Xbox One X With Settings Roughly Equal To ‘PC High’- Developer

ARK: Survival Evolved, the popular prehistoric survival action game, will run in glorious 1440p and 30fps on Xbox One X, Jeremy Stieglitz of Studio Wildcard, and Lead Designer, Lead Creator, and Co-Director of the game, confirmed on Twitter. What’s more, it will maintain that level of performance and resolution while being roughly equivalent to PC high settings.

While that is impressive, at E3, Studio Wildcard promised 1080p at 60fps for the Xbox One X version- so what about that? Never fear, because Stieglitz confirmed that the game can run at those settings, with visual quality equivalent to ‘PC medium’. Stieglitz further stated that the option to switch between those graphical settings may be provided to players in the final game.

ARK: Survival Evolved is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will be one of over 100 games that will be enhanced for the Xbox One X, and as one of the most popular games currently, is sure to find lots of takers on Xbox One X too.
