Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Arcade Mode Allows Players To Create Their Own Custom Battles

Live out all your childhood Star Wars fantasies like never before.

When the Star Wars: Battlefront 2’s beta launches next week, players will also be able to try out the new Arcade Mode, which, going by EA’s description of it, is going to be a fan favourite when the game itself launches. Arcade Mode will essentially allow you to create your own battles with your own rules, which means that you get to live out all your childhood Star Wars battle and skirmish fantasies. What’s more, this mode will be playable both online and off.

In the beta itself, options will be quite limited, only giving you two battles to choose from. Players will play on the Theed map (capital of Naboo), and while either play a 10v10 battle, or be put in control o0f Darth Maul and fight against incoming waves of AI controller enemies.

In the full version when the game launches, though, there will be a lot more options. You will be able to choose which Star Wars era you want to play in, tweak the difficulty, change the classes of the AI troopers you play against, use your loadout-tweaking Star Cards earned in the multiplayer mode, and more.

The Arcade Mode will support two-player split screen support, and players will even earn credits while playing it, with which you can buy more loot crates and more Star Cards. If you play the Special Arcade Mode, you’ll be able to purchase and/or unlock even better loot and upgrades.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 launches on November 17 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt until then for continued coverage on the game.
