Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is finally here, and against a lot of people’s expectations – including, I freely confess, my own – it appears to be a rather well made game, with a lot of meaningful expansions and mechanical upgrades over the first one. While a lot of the controversies that surrounded the game still stand, the fact of the matter is that it is in fact possible for you to simply pick up the game, play it through to the end, and not have to worry about any of it.
