The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: The Champion’s Ballad May Launch On November 23

The coda to the legend.

Posted By | On 03rd, Nov. 2017

People have been waiting for the second expansion for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a story base add-on to the original game that takes place after the events in the core game, focuses on the four champions, and adds a new dungeon, for a while now. All we have known is that it is due out this year- but we’ve had no release date for it whatsoever.

Well, now we might have a hint towards it. A download card for the Expansion Pass for Breath of the Wild (which is how you get access to both expansions for it) has been listed on the game’s Japanese website, and it is listed for November 23rd.

Now, of course, it can totally launch before the second expansion itself is out- but that sounds unlikely, to be honest. It seems like Nintendo would want to push it out to have it coincide with the release of the second DLC. That day is also when the Explorer’s Edition for the game is due to release in North America- so all signs point to a November 23 release.

Hopefully we get a confirmation soon. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available on the Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
