The Game Awards are almost upon us, and as the date for the show approaches, the excitement surrounding it continues to amp up. Geoff Keighley recently took to Twitter to do his part to add to that hype, by talking about this year’s show, and teased some big stuff coming up.

In one tweet, Keighley confirmed that the set for this year’s TGA is the biggest ever in the show’s history “in size and scope”, something which is illustrated by the fact that The Game Awards orchestra will also be making a debut in next week’s ceremony. He confirmed that every investment is being made to make sure that the show “a special night”.

In another tweet, he confirmed that he’s reviewed some of the final assets for this year’s world premieres, before commenting that the work by the teams in question has “finished up strong”. This definitely seems to be a major point of conversation about this year’s awards show. Last week, we reported on how the world premieres lineup for this year’s TGA was going to be possibly the biggest in the show’s history. You can read all about it here.

The Game Awards show will take place on Thursday, 7th December. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on anything and everything to do with it.
