SoulCalibur 6 New Trailer Introduces A Brand New Character

This is the heart, and this is the soul.

Much to the joy of many, SoulCalibur 6 is a thing. The newest installment in Bandai Namco’s long running sword based 3D fighting game series has been long awaited by fans, and now the game will be releasing this year at last.

The new game is supposed to take place immediately after the original SoulCalibur, which means a lot of the cast in the game should be familiar to fans. Indeed, this brand new trailer for the game, which debuted at EVO 2018 in Japan, does show us three returning characters in Nightmare, Xianghua, and Kilik. In addition to those three, it also introduced a brand new character- Grøh, who fights using dual blades. He kind of looks badass.

You should check him out for yourself in the trailer below. SoulCalibur 6 is due to launch later this year; it will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. As of right now, no guest characters (in keeping with series tradition) have been announced, but hopefully soon.
