Ni No Kuni II is a game that seems to be coming along very well. While we’ve seen plenty of gameplay footage of the game previously, IGN has posted a new video which showcases the beginning section of the game, the first 18 minutes to be exact.

Of course, the video contains spoilers regarding the beginning section of the game, so keep that in mind if you’re going to watch it. It’s plain enough to see that the game gets off to a pretty great start as we’re slowly introduced to some of the main characters in the world. The gameplay in the beginning section also looks very exciting and will certainly grab the attention of any newcomers to the series with the wonderful art style and detailed environments.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is set to release for the PC and PS4 on March 23. You can check out the new gameplay footage below.
