Update 1.3 for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was supposed to originally come out in February; the update was due to add, among other things, more difficulty levels, a New Game Plus mode, as well as various other options, such as the ability to send story blades on Merc Missions, the ability to get all story blades from the Crystal Drawing mechanic, and also some general cleanup of the UI and menus.

It was delayed into March; now, it is almost here. Nintendo and Monolith Soft have confirmed that the game will be getting update 1.3 tomorrow, on March 2. Which is as good a time as any to jump back into the game, if you have already played through the story.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 launched exclusively on the Nintendo Switch back on December 1, and ended up winning critical acclaim; it went on to sell over a million copies worldwide within just a month of launch. if you haven’t played the game already, now’s a great time to start.

Please note the tweet below may have spoilers if you have not yet already finished the game.
