There will be no enter/exit vehicle animations, as confirmed by Senior Gameplay Designer on Battlefield 3, Alan Kertz.
Battlefield fans have been wondering whether there will be enter-exit vehicle animations in the game. Unfortunately or fortunately for some players there will be no such animations. Senior Gameplay Designer on Battlefield 3, Alan Kertz has confirmed the same on twitter:

@NemyBoatSpotted No plans. We want to keep the pace of MP like traditional BF. Anims slow it down.
I think this is a nice development by DICE and hopefully this will make the multiplayer faster and more fun filled than ever before.
