It seems that a day is not a proper day if it does not have Battlefield 3 news flowing in. Today we have a few more updates for you. Battlefield 3 co-op campaign will support two players and will have ten maps.
In the latest issue of PSM3, Executive producer Patrick Bach has revealed that the co-op mode will include ten maps and have been designed for two players. Unfortunately we don’t have more details on the same.
And now, lets turn our attention to the ever increasing hype of ‘Battlefield 3 vs Modern Warfare 3’ battle. DICE’s Executive Producer Patrick Bach has stated that Battlefield 3 is not a Modern Warfare 3 copycat.
“We’re trying to build the best Battlefield game that we’ve ever built, so it doesn’t really change how people want to position it, and how consumers see it or how media likes to portray this,” he said to Gamespot. “To us it’s important to stay focus on building a Battlefield 3. We don’t want to play second fiddle or be a copy, no one wants to be the cover band, you want to be the star,” he said. “So trying to copy someone else will also put you in second place. We know that we can build great Battlefield games and that’s what we’re doing here as well.”
