DICE: ‘We go for quality and a great experience. Not quantity’

Posted By | On 29th, Jun. 2011

Another day and yet another update for DICE’s upcoming first person shooter: Battlefield 3. One of the things that have plagued the internet is the division of Battlefield 3 PC gamers and the people who follow the console version. One of the advantages of the PC version of Battlefield 3, besides it looks absolutely gorgeous, is the fact that it supports 64 players unlike the console versions which will do a 12X12.

A Battlefield 3 fan posted this query to the Global Battlefield Community Manager at DICE:

@zh1nt0 Man..just wondering why does all these crappy games have 32+ and not a beautiful game like Battlefield 3,come on I kno yall hear us!

To which he got a reply:

@GucciSwirl That´s the reason. We go for quality and a great experience. Not quantity

He further stated that they are hard at work to make Battlefield 3 the best game ever.

@jcdean78 We are hard at work making the best game ever 🙂

We really do hope that it turns out to be the best Battlefield  game ever if not the best first person shooter ever.
