Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth’s Newest Trailer Focuses On the Persona 5 Villain Kamoshida

We also get to see footage of a movie themed dungeon.

Yesterday, as I was signing off on the report about the newest Persona Q2 character introduction video (which focuses on Caroline and Justine, the Velvet Room attendants from Persona 5), I noted that most major characters had at this point received character introduction videos for the upcoming game. The one major exception is, I pointed out, Makoto Niijima, who is yet to get her own trailer.

It seems like Atlus is determined to hold out on us with that specific trailer for as long as possible, because they’ve put out a new trailer that focuses on one of Persona 5’s villains— they’d rather give us that than Makoto, apparently.

Jokes aside, the new trailer shows us footage of a new dungeon in the game, which, much like the rest of the game’s imagery suggests, has a heavy cinematic motif. We also see Kamoshida, the teacher from Persona 5 who physically and sexually abused his students, return, taking on a sickening “Super-Kamoshida” form, which seems to me to be an intriguing take on the character (assuming it is handled well, which there’s no guarantee it will be).

You can check out the trailer for yourself below. Persona Q2 launches on Nintendo 3DS on November 28 in Japan, with no western release announced yet.
