Nintendo Switch’s New Commercials for Japan Show The System’s Appeal for Everyone

Nintendo taps into the Switch’s most major advantage for newest round of advertising.

Nintendo Switch

The one thing that Nintendo systems have over the competition is that they can well and truly appeal to everyone. Since Nintendo is one of the last major developers still actively working on putting out kid friendly games, their platforms have games that can appeal to younger audiences and adults alike. It’s an advantage Nintendo has leveraged previously, and once again taps into with the newest commercials for Nintendo Switch in Japan.

The first commercial shows us the Switch being enjoyed by younger audienceswhile the second one shows us the Switch’s appeal to older players. The distinction seems to be in showing the Switch’s appeal, as well as the appeal of its games, to everyone. You can see both videos for yourself below.

In the end, the Switch’s versatility thanks to its hybrid nature means that it is, after all, a highly appealing machine, regardless of the demographic you fall into. That’s one reason the system has continued to sell so well. Whether or not it means that Nintendo will hit their slightly over ambitious target for hitting shipments of 20 million this year remains to be seen.
