Lets be honest here, EA partners program didn’t exactly help Goichi Suda’s, Shadows of the Damned. The game was a commercial failure worldwide. So their next project, Lollipop Chainsaw is going to be published by Warner Bros. Interactive. Yes, the ones that brought you Mortal Kombat and F3AR. The game puts you in the shoes of a spunky cheerleader who goes on a rampage killing  Zombies with the most exotic weapons imaginable.

Akira Yamaoka is composing the music again, after a wonderful job in Shadows of the Damned. “Our exciting partnership with Kadokawa Games allows us to try something new by bringing a very unique game like Lollipop Chainsaw to Western markets,” said Martin Tremblay, President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

“Grasshopper Manufacture’s games have shown tremendous success with gamers around the globe and we are delighted to expand our portfolio of Japanese-developed games.” Will the game be more successful commercially than Shadows of the Damned? Tell us what you feel in the comments section below.
