The Humble Store will now sell digital versions of Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch games in the United States. The Humble Store page announced today that it will be selling Nintendo game codes going forward—more importantly, this also opens the potential for further Nintendo Humble Bundles.
Nintendo games, however, are only being sold on the Humble Store in the US right now. While you can see the notification on the store page everywhere in the world, you can’t even access the Switch and 3DS section unless you’re in the US, or you use a VPN. The pricing seems to be on par with eShop prices for now, though apparently, if you have a Humble account, you get $5 off towards Nintendo games, per Wario64 on Twitter. Given how rarely Nintendo games go on sale to any degree at all, I suppose this is the best we are going to get for now.
Let’s just hope they will open up Humble Store Nintendo sales to the rest of the world soon enough. Right now that section of the store isn’t even accessible in Canada.
