Yoshi’s Crafted World Demo Is Available To Download On Nintendo eShop Right Now

The demo provides the player with a good feel (heh) for how the game will play.

Daemon X Machina was not the only game that got a demo for it shadow-dropped during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct broadcast. Another game Nintendo silently released a demo for yesterday was Yoshi’s Crafted World, the upcoming platformer starring the adorable green dinosaur that will launch on the Nintendo Switch next month.

Accompanied with a brand new trailer for the game was the announcement a demo for it is available now. The demo is really small in terms of file size (it comes in at 511MB), and shows a game that looks utterly gorgeous in docked mode. Sadly, in handheld mode, it seems as though the graphics take somewhat of a hit, which is a shame considering just how strong and stark the art style is otherwise.

Other than that, the game seems to play well based on my own time with the demo, though it’s a bit on the easy side. That said, the demo likely features the earlier, easier levels, and the later levels in the game will presumably get harder.

Yoshi’s Crafted World launches exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on March 29. You can watch the demo announcement in the timestamped video below.
