Paradox has released a new trailer for King Arthur: Fallen Champions, a new RPG-RTS for the PC.  It will be out August 25th, for the low price of $9.99.  The press release is as follows:

NEW YORK — August 5th, 2011 —O followers of King Arthur, kneel and listen! Paradox Interactive and Neocore Games today announced that it has released a new gameplay trailer for Camelot’s latest call to arms, King Arthur: Fallen Champions.

The highly anticipated stand-alone game is bridging the gap between King Arthur: The Role Playing Game and King Arthur II: The Role-Playing Wargame, and will be available the 25th of August for a recommended retail price of 9,99 USD.

King Arthur: Fallen Champions tells the tale of three brave souls.
Sir Lionel, a noble knight who ventures out to the aid of a damsel in distress; Lady Corrigan of the Sidhe, a twilight creature trying to find her way home; and Drest the Chosen, a Northern shaman driven onward by visions and voices. The three will ultimately join forces as champions against an ancient and long-forgotten evil.

About King Arthur: Fallen Champions

King Arthur: Fallen Champions relies on a story-based, mission-to-mission plot. Players will choose missions and upgrade heroes. The Fallen Champions Campaign Map covers one specific region of Britannia, where players command three very different heroes. Each hero has his own storyline and each of these storylines incorporates three battles, adding up to a total of nine skirmishes plus the confrontation with the major foe in the 10th battle. The battle maps are diverse both in terms of visuals and in construction: some tactical-RPG situations (with a limited number of elite units and heroes), tactical battles (with huge armies on the field) and massive battles against a general AI under very unusual circumstances.

Main Features
Follow three unique heroes, each with their own storyline featuring adventure quests & battles
A variety of battle types fought on unique, beautifully crafted battlemaps, ranging from smaller tactical skirmishes to grand engagements against superior numbers
A dark and gripping fantasy tale that bridges the gap between King Arthur and King Arthur II, set in an ancient region of Britannia, beyond the well-known territories of King Arthur
