Judgment Producer: I Will Make The Game Rise Again

Hopefully, he can see the game he worked on back on the market again soon.

Project Judge

Unfortunately, Judgment saw itself rapidly withdrawn from sale yesterday after one of the leading actors who worked on and starred in it, Pierre Taki, saw himself arrested as the result of a cocaine bust. Sega also proceeded to pull all marketing for the game, and its western release is now in jeopardy.

Of course, for fans who were looking forward to the game, this is harrowing, because it’s unclear whether or not the game will ever come out in the west now—but it’s also obviously taxing for the others who worked on the game other than Taki too, who find their work suddenly erased, all because of the actions of one person.

One of these people is Yakuza Producer Daisuke Sato, who also worked on Judgment, who, taking to Twitter, expressed a very strong desire to bring the game back, noting that he “won’t let it be as though the game never existed”, and that he will “make the game rise back again”.

Sega themselves, of course, haven’t issued any official statement beyond when they recanted all copies from sale—I imagine that for now, they’re in damage control mode, and that they won’t even consider future sales for the game until the issue has blown over.
