Today, The Farm 51 launched a Kickstarter campaign for Chernobylite, a survival horror game that takes place in, as you’d expect, Chernobyl. The developers are aiming for $100,000 to help fund extra features and expanded locations (the game is still scheduled to release if the Kickstarter doesn’t reach its goals, but The Farm 51 is hoping to get a little extra past their initial budgeting for these additions). You can check out the Kickstarter for the game here.

Chernobylite will take place in a 3D-scanned Chernobyl 30 years after the infamous nuclear disaster that still plagues the region to this very day. The game promises a tense environment where you must hunt monsters spawned from the incident with others. You must craft weapons and gear to survive, and if the radioactive monsters aren’t enough, you may not be able to trust those around you. You can check out the story trailer below for an idea of the game’s bleak tone.

Chernobylite is scheduled to release for PC Early Access on Steam in November, with PS4 and Xbox One versions due out some time in 2020.
