Andy Katkin had a lot to say at GamesCom, he called FIFA 12 a revolution, and had a lot more to say.

“Pro Player Intelligence system in FIFA 12 delivers the next level of AI letting your players react even more authentically.”
“With the new Online Friendlies mode, connecting with your friends will be even easier.”
It was expected EA would hype up FIFA 12, especially when FIFA 11 shipped 15 million copies. Katkin had a lot more to say about Ultimate mode as well. “And finally, FIFA Ultimate Team will let you build, manage and compete with your dream. Big news: for the first time ever, FIFA Ultimate Team will ship with the FIFA 12 disc this year!”
