Luigi’s Mansion 3 Pre-loading Is Live, File Size Revealed

Luigi’s Mansion 3 releases for the Switch is just a little over a month from now, and if you’re among the people looking forward to add the game to your library, there’s good news for you. The not-so-scary action adventure title can now be pre-loaded on the Switch eShop.

The file size is about what you would have expected- it’s 6.3 GB, which isn’t too large, all things considered. Nintendo doesn’t usually announce when first party games go gold, but they’re only made available for pre-loading when that happens, so it’s safe to assume that principle development on Luigi’s Mansion 3 has wrapped up, and its code is now being sent out to get pressed on Switch cards.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 releases on October 31st. At the most recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo showed off plenty of new stuff from the game, including some of the varied and crazy environments you’ll be visiting in the game’s haunted hotel, as well as a new multiplayer mode.
