The haunted hotel with its many crazy sights and sounds that Luigi visits will be the star attraction in the upcoming Luigi’s Mansion 3, but for those who’re looking for a more social experience, the game’s going to have plenty to offer on that front at well. Not only will it be launching with two multiplayer modes – ScareScraper and ScreamPark – those two modes will also be receiving paid post-launch DLC.

Over on the game’s page at Nintendo’s official website, the publisher confirms the same, saying, “Paid DLC will come to Luigi’s Mansion 3 in the future, adding new content to the ScareScraper and ScreamPark multiplayer modes.” What that new content will be is anyone’s guess right now, and whether or not Nintendo will be announcing something along the lines of an expansion pass for the same also remains to be seen- but hey, at last we know it’s coming.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 is out for the Switch on October 31. The game recently went live on the eShop for pre-loading- it’ll require 6.3 GB of free storage space on your Switch. You can check out roughly 30 minutes of gameplay footage through here.
