CD Projekt has revealed that, The Witcher 2 has sold 940,000 units till now. The game launched in may with great critical success. Sequel to one of the best PC RPG’s, The Witcher 2 follows the story of Geralt and his adventures in a fictional world written by Andrej Sapkowski.

The original game, originaly released in October 2007, sold over one million copies in its first year on sole — a feat that the company claimed was especially impressive for a title based on an unfamiliar IP from an unknown studio. The company also revealed that, for the first half of 2011, it saw profits of 20.4 million Polish zloty ($7.09 million) and generated 80.3 million Polish zloty ($27.92 million) in revenue.
