Unlike most adaptations of the Alien franchise, Alien: Isolation chose to emulate the original film instead of the more action oriented sequels. In Isolation you are stalked relentlessly by the unkillable xenomorph as you desperately try to find a way to escape and also contend against rogue androids. Now you’ll get to experience it on the go near the end of the year.

We finally got a solid date for the Switch port of the game. Along with the announcement of the date we also got a special launch trailer with snippets of the gameplay and story. The release will include all of the post-release DLC for Isolation as well as some new features like compatibility with HD Rumble and gyroscopic aiming. It will also retail for $35 USD. Check out the launch trailer below.

Alien: Isolation is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with the Nintendo Switch version launching on December 5th.
