While we’ve gone through the story of Romance of the Three Kingdoms many times at this point, Koei Tecmo seems to have no problems being able to create new material from it. We’re on the cusp of the fourteenth installment in their strategy game series based on the Chinese historical epic. We’ve seen a lot of Japanese footage of the title, such as a massive breakdown of the gameplay loop. Now, we get a brief taste in English as well.
A new gameplay trailer details the game’s features as well as the many familiar officers that will play key roles in its multilayered story. Things like duels, formations, the campaign and special rules are also touched upon. Check it out below.
